Adrienne Hill
Reporter / You Can Count on Adrienne!
Adrienne is a retired high school math teacher from Calgary, Alberta, Canada who discovered there was a world of skepticism from her adult children who would buy her skeptical books and challenge her reasoning by identifying logical fallacies. Discovering the Guerrilla Skepticism on Wikipedia group run by Susan Gerbic and being trained as a Wikipedia editor has opened a new world to her. She has spoken at two Skepticamps, (New York and Monterey Bay) and is a founding member of the Rocky Mountain Atheists of Calgary’s Western Canadian Reason (WeCanReason) Conference and webinars. She has been a regular volunteer on Richard Saunders’ Great Australian Prediction Project and wrote her first skeptical article called Not For Prophet about the teams’ efforts for The Skeptic magazine.
With all the events on Zoom because of the pandemic, she has learned she has more in common with Australians vs the Americans just south of Canada who always forget the 'u' in so many words and the run to an election takes 2 years.
